Ty Bach Ysgo Reviews

A fantastic cottage for 2 people, with an exceptionally clean and well maintained hot tub. Perfect location for hiking, with the coastal path opposite the property. Our dog enjoyed the stay, but had to stay on lead in the garden, because it is a working farm, but there are so many safe Sandy beaches where she could exercise with Aberdaron a 7 minute drive. Friendly and helpful host thanks Rob.
After we made a very short notice booking, with the help from the lovely lady at Sykes Cottages we have had the most loveliest 5 night stay at Ty Bach Cottage. The Cottage is absolutely beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. The lovely welcome package left for us was a nice surprise, especially when we arrived late. The hot tub was such a special treat after a long day out walking and exploring. The cottage is set back on a working farm and the host was very welcoming. Seeing the cute little lambs every morning was also wonderful. A special little place of which we will 100 return too.
Absolutely perfect, couldn't say anything more. From the log burner to the hot tub to the fully enclosed garden for our little dogs the cottage was perfect. Isolated, close to the beach and wonderful countryside walks on the doorstep it suited us perfectly and would not hesitate to recommend to others.
A charming and very comfortable cottage in peaceful surroundings! We loved it! The enclosed gardens meant our dog did too! Very well appointed with everything you could possibly need, and hot tub was a very welcome bonus! We have already rebooked for next year! Thank you!
Great cottage in a super location with a decent garden for Luna our dog to run round, perfect
Robert
Fantastic location. Great cottage. Perfect for two. Low water pressure but not an issue. Rob was great host and helpful. Would certainly be happy to return.
The location makes this cottage. It is a 5 minute walk from a quiet cove. If you are in to dark skies, this is definitely the place to stay, we were lucky to have a meteor shower as well as seeing the aurora. The outside space was excellent and the hot tub was a definite bonus. A great stay.
Michelle
Very friendly owner, the cottage is lovely and clean with thoughtful touches. Bottle of wine and welsh cakes are a lovely touch. Great location with beautiful walks in close proximity to Aberdaron and Abersoch.
Great stay perfect for what we wanted. Piece and quite lovely walks and the hot tub was a bonus, also got to see the aurora borealis would love to stay again
A fantastic little cottage in an idyllic setting and within easy reach of most attractions on the peninsula. . A lovely welcome pack and our genial host Rob was at hand for any problems that may occur. The hot tub was a lovely bonus after a long walk. After the weeks of storms and rain the weather was beautiful which made for a lovely week. We will definitely be going back.

What a lovely time we had. perfect countryside to drive or walk around. The cottage is fabulous for a cold misty night with the log fire and a comfy bed. We cooked some lovely meals because everything you needed in the spotless kitchen was perfect. A short drive to the pub for lunch where the locals were really friendly. The hosts were on hand if you needed them but never intruded on our lovely break. The hot tub was relaxing after a long walk. space for our dog to run safely. What more could you ask for. Welcomed with wine and welsh cakes. Thank you so much Rob xx
A fantastic well equipped cottage in the perfect location for exploring what the area has to offer. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Rob. We appreciated the wine and Welsh Cakes left out for us. We would recommend this cottage for a quiet, cozy, romantic stay. Perfect for those who enjoy the experience of a log burner and for those that like a hot tub.
Delightful cottage with really friendly owners who have thought of everything for visitors' comfort and enjoyment of their stay.

We enjoyed our visit, the cottage was comfortable and the little extras that were left were a lovely touch which was appreciated. The wifi was frustrating at times, however we did understand that this is due to the beautiful location. The main issue was that I want to feel slightly isolated and not hear and see anybody else except the owners, who were friendly and gave us some helpful tips, so we were surprised to see what looked like a static caravan next to us, as this was not in any photos or mentioned in the description. Overall we had a lovely break and my husband enjoyed resting in the hot tub.

Georgina
Absolutely wonderful and comfy cottage, stunning views of the sea just around the corner, log burner giving lots of heat and the added bonus of being able to buy extra logs on site! Such a peaceful place to stay except for the the odd murmur from the cows and sheep, which we loved! Kitchen fully equipped only problem for me I couldnt reach the saucepans where they were stored on their hooks husband to the rescue!. Would most definitely recommend and have done already!
Brandon
Excellent place to stay. Highly recommend this cottage. Would definitely come back. Hot tub was amazing even in the windy weather we enjoyed it. Nothing against the property just advise to be careful on the roads about 20 30 mins away from cottage someone crashed into us but dont get me wrong a lot of people around helped us and it was one off them could of happened to anyone. Lovely people though around this area helped us so much and kept asking if they could help in any way. Even though this happened we will hopefully come back to stay here. Thanks.
Wonderful break,we could not fault this trip, highly recommend.
What a great place, a perfect location for those who like beach walks and peace and tranquillity. We both loved it.
Philip
Lovely cottage in peaceful location. Property maintained to a high standard . This was the second time that we have stayed at this cottage, would highly recommend. Nice to have the use of the hot tub, great after a long day walking. Thank you
Fantastic location and lovely cottage! We loved walking down to the local beach at low tide in the evening and going for a paddle or swim. The patio was a great sheltered sun trap to relax and read. The wifi didn't work but we had 4G for whatever we did need to look up so it wasn't an issue for us. The kitchenlivingdining area was comfortable and makes great use of the space. The mattress on the bed could do with replacing but it was a good size. The shower sometimes took a few goes to go hot it sounded like the boiler was quite old but it worked ok. The hot tub was fantastic kept really clean and the perfect temperature. We had a brilliant week exploring the Llyn peninsula and Ty Bach Ysgo was the perfect base. We would love to come back!
Joanne
Just back from a lovely relaxing week. Everything was perfect, beautiful cottage. Great outside area all fenced off, for our doggie baby. He love to sit & watch the birds. Fab location for all the places we wanted to visit. Couldnt fault it. Everything you needed it was there. Plus the hot tub.
Beautiful cottage, owners are lovely approachable people. Outstanding location. Cottage equipment is good standard and furnishings are very comfortable. Hot tub is very difficult to get out of.............it's just so, so comfortable! It's blissfully peaceful all day and night apart from the odd bleating sheep! Thank you.
Jennifer
We had an excellent stay. The cottage is very comfortable & cosy. The owners are very helpful if you need them. It's in a fabulous location. There's a lovely beach walk from the cottage & within a 23 mile drive you reach Aberdarron a lovely fishing village which has another stunning beach. Overall, we'd a great holiday, so much so we've booked to return next year.
Excellent cottage, very well set out to a high standard lovely decor, kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need. Super comfy bed. Its situated in a idyllic setting on the headland with many walks straight from the door and a beautiful beach just a short walk away. Enjoyed the log burner on an evening and the jacuzzi was a pleasant extra. Lovely welcome from the host and wine and Welsh Cakes left for us were much appreciated. Will definitely stay again.
